Shop Small celebrates the small businesses that do big things in our local communities, while also rewarding Card Members for showing their support for where they live. Shop Small is a campaign dedicated to supporting the small businesses in UAE who are the backbone of our community and economy.

12th January to 12th March 2026

The American Express Shop Small Map displays qualifying American Express Card-accepting Small Merchants with a physical and/or online business location for Card Members to easily find and support local places and discover new ones near them. Locations will be highlighted with a pin and the Small Merchant name.

Eligible American Express Card Members who spend AED 50 or more in a single transaction on their Card between 12th January to 12th March 2026 at any Small Merchant will receive AED 20 credit back to their Account. The offer can be redeemed up to 5 times per month, to get up to AED 100 back per month.

1. This Offer is open to Basic Card Members holding any Personal Cards issued by AMEX (Middle East) B.S.C. (c) (“AEME”).

2. Eligible Cards must be active i.e. not blocked or cancelled and with no overdue payments on the card.

Check out our interactive Shop Small map at the Shop Small website to discover businesses that welcome your American Express Card. Use the map to find Small Merchants near you. Additional Small Merchants may be added during the offer period. Small Merchants may also display Shop Small branding in their store (i.e. a sticker, tent card, wobbler). Transactions of AED 50 or more made online at the Small Merchant’s website will also be eligible.

You will be rewarded for up to 5 transactions of at least AED 50 per month – 5 transactions from 12th January to 11th February 2026, and 5 from 12th February to 12th March 2026. There is no limit to how many times you can use the offer at the same Small Merchant.

Eligible Card Mmembers will receive the corresponding amount as a credit to their Card account six (6) weeks post campaign end date. A Statement Credit may be reversed if an eligible transaction is refunded or cancelled.

You will receive an SMS or Push notification to notify you when the statement credit is awarded to your account. You may contact Customer Services by calling AEME on the number on the back of any eligible Card to enquire and they will assist you.

Small businesses who meet the qualifying criteria will automatically become a Shop Small Merchant, featuring on the Shop Small Map and will benefit from the Shop Small American Express Cardmember offer.  American Express may also determine that other small businesses, in addition to the ones above, are eligible to participate in Shop Small on a case-by-case basis. Eligibility requirements will be determined at our sole discretion and may change at any time. There is no cost to be included. These resources and incentive to Cardmembers are fully funded by American Express Middle East and are provided to eligible small businesses at no additional cost.

In most instances the address on the Map will reflect the details we have on file for your business. If this is showing incorrectly on the Map, this could be due to several reasons.  For example, we hold your registered address on file which is different to your trading location, or your business has moved premises and we have an old address on file.  You can update your address and location on the Map by contacting your Merchant Relationship Manager or emailing us at: MS.uae@americanexpress.ae

Please note that any changes may take up to 21 business days to reflect on the map.

As a business, it costs nothing to be featured and it is a great way to get your business more exposure.
